WHEN MY CAT IS SETTLED IN HOW MUCH TIME WILL HE SPEND OUT OF HIS CONDO?

Any guest that is comfortable will have their condo door kept open for the entire day.  Many kitties need a little help and encouragement getting started and feeling confident.  We will always tend to and provide any needed one-on-one time to our adjusting friends.

AAAH the best part!  This is OUR job.  If your kitty seems nervous or concerned, we have LOTS of tricks up our sleeves that will encourage them to settle and become comfortable in their new space.  This is not for you to worry about, you will likely have plenty on your mind and we've definitely got this one!

To put your mind at more ease, it's very common for a cat to react negatively to another animal that has entered what they consider to be their territory.  Your cat may consider his/her house and its surroundings to belong to them and feel a natural instinct to protect it.  SoHoCats is a neutral environment where these territorial conflicts generally do not exist.

Of course you are, this is normal!  Most people do not know how their cat will adjust to a space with other cats.  Again, we take the worry out of this for you and make it our job. We'll know exactly how and when a new guest will be ready to join their new friends.
